I have read every Ted Dekker book. The Circle books were not my favorite but I still enjoyed them. Books like Three and Adam were great to me. He has created with Kiss another great thriller.
Here is a brief description of the book:
When a tragic auto accident leaves Shauna McAllister's brother brain-damaged and erases her recent memories, she discovers she has a paranormal ability to steal memories from others, a capability that will either get her killed or unveil hidden sides of the very people she thought she could trust. Against this background, she attempts to uncover the ugly truth about her father's dark secrets and to upend his run for president of the United States.
Dekker is a master of the Christian Thriller genre. I could not put the book down. It is like a roller-coaster from beginning to end. You will not be disappointed.

Rex: A Mother, Her Autistic Child, and the Music that Transformed Their Lives

Rex is a book that is so amazing and encouraging. Written from a mother about her son Rex. Rex is a great spiritual journey of hope and love.
Rex is born blind and his mothers world is literally turned upside down. Cathleen Lewis really gives honesty to what parents go through during a diagnose like this. The pain and the joy of life is really exposed. She draws the reader in with here love for her child.
But then she learns Rex is Autistic. The book really shows the world of Autism. Being around Autism in my family personally, she really discusses it with openness.
At this point in the story I could not put the book down. Let me also mention I am not a nonfiction book reader. But this book blew me away. I actually read the book in on sitting.
When Rex's musically ability is discovered I wanted to applaud. I was so encouraged and thankful to God for Rex's life.
Rex is a great example of the Glory of God and the fact that God makes no mistakes. With God all things are possible!
Read Rex and see the Glory of God!
